CE Marking your Construction Product
The EU Construction Products Regulation (CPR) was implemented to make the trade and movement of construction products within the European single market easier and quicker.
The aim of the CPR is to confirm the dependability of information relating to the performance of construction products. This is delivered through Harmonized European construction product Standards and European Technical Assessments (ETA) via uniform assessment methods which use a common technical language.
The CPR requires manufacturers of products covered by Harmonized European Technical Specifications, such as Harmonized Standards and European Technical Assessments (ETAs), to manufacture and test their products in accordance with a documented FPC System and the requirements of the Harmonized Technical Specification.
