UK TIMBER REGULATION – CERTIFICATES ISSUED BY “BM CERTIFICATION” – NOT AFFILIATED WITH OR ENDORSED BY BM TRADA

It has come to our attention that certificates are being issued for UKTR legal compliance by a company named "BM Certification”.  The UKTR certificates issued by BM Certification are designed to look like BM TRADA certificates, but they are not endorsed or authorised by BM TRADA.   BM Certification and its employees are not affiliated or connected with BM TRADA in any way.  BM TRADA categorically does not support any certification schemes offered by BM Certification or any certificates issued under those schemes.  BM TRADA is currently taking action to defend its intellectual property rights for the protection of the timber supply chain and end users.  If you have any questions on the above, or you are aware of any certificates issued by BM Certification that have caused confusion, please contact us via email: compliance@bmtrada.com
